Flat Tires, Hospitals & Bojangles

Hello friends!

I hope everyone had a fabulous Monday...mine was a bit cray but we will get to that!

Breakfast was a total fail.  I was running late, tried to make my protein pancake again and it just wouldnt flip and stuck to the pan and I ran out of time.  I grabbed an oatmeal pack and made it work!


Oatmeal-120 cals
Smores topping-45 cals
peanut butter-85 cals

Then for lunch I had the chinese again!  I might actually be getting tired of it now. lol.


Then later on I went out to run an errand and got a flat tire!!! :( Nail was stuck in it.

Luckilly I work at a car dealership and a technician came out to help me in about 10 mins and I was back on the road, thank God!

All that craziness made me need a snack lol.

Then I had a string cheese-50 cals and tomatoes-15 cals


I love these tomatoes they are soo sweet!

Ok so I planned on going to the gym, but my car tire was plugged, it was cold and rainy and my Aunt is in the hospital (which hubby happend to be working at tonight) so instead I stopped by to see her and hubby for a minute.

Please say a prayer for my aunt, they had to take fluid out of her lungs and it had blood in it :(  They are also testing her for ovarian cancer.  PLEASE pray these tests come out negative!!! We love her so much...

SO then hubby needed some dinner, I had to run to Bojangles across the street because he will still be at the hospital for a couple hours.  I am not going to lie, I had a couple of his fries, BUT I didnt order me dinner there.  A year ago I most certianly would have. 

I came home, practially STARVING now that I had a taste of some amazing bojangle seasoned fries, and on the drive home I had decided I would have a lean cuisine pizza.  Feels naughty but still within my cals. LOL. I had that with a side salad, we have a HUGE bag from costco I am trying to eat up!

I topped the salad with 4 turkey peperonnis.  Did you know you can have 16 of those things for only 70 cals??

It was sooooo good.

Salad-about 100 cals
Pizza-380 cals ( i cut it into little pieces so it would last longer haha )

I might have a piece of 45 cal toast today before I hit the hay but maybe not.  I might have some hot tea.  But I still have laundry to put away.  Tommorow morning I am going to try to get up and do a workout dvd here before work because we are supposed to have Bible Study tommorow night.  I need my rest too, I am a tired girl right now!  Still time to enter the giveaway!!!!   1. I'm eating those sweet grape tomatoes as we speak: SO YUMMY!!!! Our juice fast ended yesterday... so it was extra delicious!

    Oh yeah, and you should also try the Weight Watchers Jalapeno String Cheese. It's only 50 cals too but it tastes SO good. You can find them at WalMart (if you have one) ;)

  2. That is a super big deal that you didn't order drive-thru food (at one of your fave places, I'm noticing) with the stress of your aunt, your tire, and getting to be with hubby a few minutes longer if you ate together. Way to go!

  3. So glad you didn't cave to the fast food! I'm sure you feel much better for not having eaten it. I am all about cherry tomatoes right now too! Always eating them for snacks.

  4. Lots of prayers for your aunt...I hope everything comes back negative. Hope you have a much better day today. Very proud of you though for still making great choices even having a crazy day. I know how much we looooove Bojangles so that is huge!

    You always have the best meal ideas -- I am totally gonna try adding PB to my oatmeal! :) And I literally had the package of turkey pepperoni in my hand this weekend at the grocery store, but I put it back. I'm grabbing it this week for sure!

    1. Thank you sweet Katie~!!! Yes girl you definetly have to get the turkey pepperoni!! Its espically good on "flat out pizzas" but first nuke it in the microwave for like 10 seconds or something and let it get crispy!! Tastes amazing!
