Chocolate Chip Protein Pancake!

Hola chickas!

Its wednessday wooot woot!!  Ok so breakfast was AMAZIN!

Ok lets talk about this for a minute shalllllllllll we.

This is a protein pancake!  I got the recipe from jonesee90 on youtube, you can watch that here.

Its sooo stinkin easy.

One banana (cut in half, mash that half up and stick in a bowl)
Add in one scoop protein (I use the Jillian Michaels Vanilla one-10.00 bucks at walmart)
Add in 1/4 cup egg whites OR 2 real egg whites.

Wisk with a fork and then gently add in one teaspoon mini chocolate chips (that was my special addition to it )

Also, I brilliantly topped mine with marshmallow cream (one tbsp).

Yall this whole thing only set me back like 200 cals.  Yeah 200 cals for all of that! Just add extra cals for marshmallow cream or anything else you want to top it with...i meant to get dark chocolate peanut butter today, that would be sooo good.

I also had the other half of the banana-45 cals
creamer-60 cals

Then for lunch my co worker was eating this chinese sweet and sour chicken that smelled like hot sauce.  It smelled sooo good I investigated the cals and went and bought one at walmart! LOL.  It was only $2.28 not bad!

420 cals...it says it has two and a half servings but let me tell you I dont really believe that, its only like half full LOL. I only counted two servings myself. lol

Then I also got a bag of steamable broccoli and I ate all of.

120 cals.  Which is ridic for some dang healthy greens.

Whatevs.

It was sooo good and filling.

Around 5pm I found a fortune cookie in my lunch bag lol

30 cals

Then I went to the gym!  Running and elliptical again only 30 mins total though.

I ran home and got started on dinner!

Noodles-200 cal

Spaghetti sauce-(went with MFP bc I was too tired to count them haha) 300 cals

Salad with blue cheese-110 cals

ALSO I ate some dang wild berry skittles that were sitting out because I saw them open and they were delicious. Bah.

160 cals

Then I had a fun size twix for 80 cals after dinner.

Glad I got to the gym today!

Hope you all are having a lovely day.

OH SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW YOU MEASURE NOODLES!!!!

By the way, eating sugar just makes me want more sugar.

I am really going to work on my sugar this summer, I want to be sugar free by this fall LOL.

  1. I just put my noodles in a measuring cup but I try to measure them when they first get done boiling so they're still moist & I fill that cup up & kinda pat the noodles down as I'm putting them in. I have tried one time to weigh the noodles out on my digital scale before cooking them, but I must say I was very upset by this because what should have been a cup, was closer to 1/2 cup! So seeing how I have lost 32 lbs & have been measuring those dang noodles out by mashing those suckers down into a measuring cup this entire time & STILL lost that weight....I decided not to torture myself & just do it like I always have. It's not like I eat pasta more than once a week anyway so it's not that big of a deal if I'm a little off. :)

    1. LOL. I hear ya on the noodles! One time I measured out 2 oz of dry spaghetti noodles on my food scale. Then I cooked mine separate from the family's (messing up two pots by doing so), and when it was done I was one hungry woman even AFTER eating! LOL

    2. Hahah good idea!!! I know, its like hardly anything! So I cooked the WHOLE BOX (had tons left over) but one EIGHTH of the box was a serving, so I estimated that way LOL but i would prefer not to cook the whole box LOL!

  3. I used to be a sugar addict - like MAJOR!!!! Last June, when we booked our vacation for this May (2013) I promised I wouldn't have any sweets or treats until the vacation. It was the best decision I ever made. If you have Netflix I HIGHLY recommend Hungry For Change - it will open your eyes to the dangers of refined sugar, that should help boost your 'want' to kick the sugar cravings after everything you learn about it from the documentary. It changed. my. life. Let me know if you watch it!!

    1. ohhh thanks for the heads up!! we dont have netflix right now, but if i can talk the hubs into getting it later i will definetly watch it!!! I am reading a book about it currently that why you are fat book LOL!But what was hardest about giving it up? do you occasionally splurge?

    2. I want to say you can watch it online somewhere, but I can't find it at the moment. Um, the hardest for me was just being so dependent on it. I felt like I needed sugar. In the past I've been an emotional eater and have felt like sugar was the only thing that could make me feel better. Also, habit made it hard too. After a meal out of habit I would feel like I needed a dessert or a treat of some kind. It's been so long now, it's not difficult to say no anymore. As far as splurges - no. I haven't just because that was the promise I made. To not have any until our vacation. As soon as our vacation comes I'm free to have if I like. I'm hoping that I will not fall extremely off the deep end and just enjoy in moderation. That's my hope :)

    3. aww girl that is awesome!! I am so proud of you I know that can be extreemly bad for us, and there is no wonder its sooo addictive and we get "cravings" for it. Enjoy your vacation though you definetly deserve it :)

  5. Sugar free just in time for Halloween! ROFL Worked out AND ran home? Wow! hehe Don't measure noodles. Just buy a spaghetti squash. Hehe Seriously, I just threw my noodles into a 1 cup measuring cup and hoped it was accurate back when I used noodles instead of squash. LOL I love Chinese food. Will have to look for that item.

    2. Jimmy tasted it but wasn't thrilled but didn't hate it either. My middle daughter really likes it and asks for that instead of actual noodles now. Even if you are the only person, though, it is good warmed up the next day or 2 for a lunch. Like I will eat mine for supper, and then either the next day or the day after re-heat it and use it up for lunch. Plus, you can make HASHBROWNS out of it. You can do lots with it. Just google. That's what I did. You can either eat it right out of the "bowl" or shred them out into your own bowl. At least try it. :)
