Trick or trEAT!


Happy Halloween everyone!!

I am blogging from my parents house because for the second Halloween in a row hubby is working. 

Not at all how I planned my Halloween, as this was unexpected, but me and Mom are going to watch scarry movies now and wait on him and my dad to get home! They have a two hour drive :(

We are watching the Tall Man with Jessica Biel. 

I will have to let yall know how it is.

Anyways this morning  started off great! I was woken up a bit after 5am and got up and got to the gym at like 6am, treadmill sesh burned 352 calories. WOOT.

Then I got me 2 egg whites from Biscuitville and they gave me a small reese cup, for Halloween. lol.

 
It was yummy!!
 
When I got to work I had coachs oats with 1 tsp brown sugar, 1/2 tbsp mini chocolate chips and that one small reese cup cut up!! It was SO good yall!!!

Then for lunch I had an amys cheddar cheese burrito, some halloween tortilla chips, salsa and a mcdonalds side salad with southwest dressing. No IDEA where that pic is. SORRY. I took one I promise!!
 
By the end of the work day I had a fun size twix, and two fun size 3 muskateers.
 
Then I went home and me and mom walked a nearby neighborhood as usual but this time we saw the cutest trick or treaters!!
 
Then we went to sonic and got 50 cent corn dogs! I had two and a small fry which barely had any fries in it. RIP off.  A corn dog is only like 200 or 210 cals not bad!
 
 
 
Then I had a butterfinger and I was still good.
Well then i had a fun size m and m pack.
 
Just being honest here kids. 
 
I try to be an inspiration to you but the truth is sometimes its hard!!
 
So then we went to pick up this movie and all of a sudden I got SO hungry again. 
 
This is where I totally stop being any sort of good role model hahah.
 
Um yeah I got mom to take me to chick fila and I totally got an 8 piece chicken nugget which I ate in the car. 
FAIL. 
 
Sorry guys. Oh well, it could be a lot worse.  I was good until the M and M's and nuggets. 
 
Dang TOM is in full force with the cravings and bottomless appetite!!
 
But anyways I hope you are all having a great Halloween with your kids and loved ones!!

New Foods, Old Favorites & 80's inspired Kickboxing!


Happy Halloween Eve! Haha. 

Halloween is no fun for me anymore!! I dont have kids and I dont live in a neighborhood so the coolest it gets is parties I guess.

But it makes me sad!

I want to see cute costumes and hear my doorbell ring 50 times in one night!!

Oh well. 

Today was great reguardless!

This morning it was super cold. 

Funny story-My alarm clock goes off around 6:15 am, however sometime between last night and this morning I have mentally decided not to do any treadmill because of kickboxing that afternoon.  So I hit it a million times and I think it continues to go off every 15 minutes.

Well I smacked it wrong and messed it up, and totally didnt care and went back to sleep.

Woke up at 8:19 am and had to be at work at 9!! EEK!!

So needless to say I was grabbing randomness hoping I could have a healthy day! Planned or unplanned!

I did have time to make my oatmeal! YUM. Blueberries & Coach's Oats.
 
Then I got kinda hungry around 11:30 so I had a snack! Easy peasy egg salad with a half cheese stick.
 
Egg-70 cals Dijonaise-5 cals 1/2 cheese stick-30 cals
 
It filled me up and I didnt eat until about 2:30!
 
390 calories
 
I had this beauty for lunch!! It was very good, although it did have 18 g fat!!!! Yikes!! But its organic, so thats good and it was tasty and filling!!

I also had a side salad from McDonalds with the southwest creamy dressing! I am addicted to this stuff!!!
 
And a diet coke. 
 
Then later on I ate the rest of my cheese stick ;) 30 more cals
 
I was so excited for kickboxing tonight!! I had talked to my teacher on facebook who had mentioned us all dressing up and I said we should wear side pony tails and leg warmers!!
 
So we did!!
 
Well I dont have any leg warmers, but the side pony I did do!!
 
A ton of us looked so cute and some girls wore cat ears on their heads to be festive! My teacher was the cutest thing EVER! I wish I had taken a pic of her, totally 80's!!!
 
We had a great sweaty hour!
 
Then at home we heated up my father in laws famous spaghetti sauce and I cooked some ronzoni healthy noodles & garlic bread.

I ate mine on a salad plate so it would make me think I had more than I did! LOL
 
I had to estimate 260 calories on the FIL's sauce because I had no idea how many calories was in it! 
 
I also ate 1.5 of those garlic bread things.  They are put out by walmart and really good!!
 
If you are friends with me on facebook then you know I was seriously craving some hot chocolate today!!

I burned so many calories in kickboxing I didnt even care to measure the couple marshmallows I put on top. 
 
But my sweet mom brought me some hot chocolate to kickboxing! So I definetly got my fix :)
 
Well tommorow is Haller-ween!!!
 
We will probably sit at home and watch some spooky movies & I might grab dinner somewhere.  I dont know yet.  I have hubby a little treat cup with candy in it and a few left over pieces for me :)
 
So that means I have to hit the gym in the morning for more bonding time with the treadmill!!

Ice Ice Baby!!


DANG YALL! Its cold here!!

I don't know where you all are, and if your in the path of Sandy I hope and pray you are safe, but here it is SO cold right now!

I guess thats what I get for complaining about the heat last week.

Oh well, anyways! Enough about the weather.

I hit 51 followers today!! I am so excited!!

Oh guess what?

I totally made it to the gym this morning and got in one hour of cardio on the treadmill.  Burned 369 calories babayyy!!

Breakfast was yummy!  I had Coach's Oats with dried blueberries from Costco.

Then I got hungry around 11:30 and had a reduced fat sargento cheddar cheese stick!
 
60 calories
 
Then I was pretty hungry around 12:30 so I went ahead and had lunch!
 
I had a light progresso soup chicken and noodle, the WHOLE can, and one pack of tuna with dijonaise and an egg on top of an arugula/spinach mix.  One cup of 50 cal diced mixed fruit on the side.
 
360 calories
 
I got hungry around 4 so I had some popcorn.
 
100 calories
 
When I was leaving a co worker gave me a piece of candy!
 
It was a small york peppermint patty!!
 
Then dinner was AMAZING yall.  
 
I made some of these pre cooked angus burgers from Costco.  One patty is 280 cals and they are already cooked and all you do is heat them in the skillet.  They are SO tasty!!
I sauteed some onions and mushrooms to go with it and we had rice with aldis fit and active mushroom gravy and green beans!!
It was SO good on a cold night! Hubby was a happy boy!!

And then for desert I got into the halloween candy! Eek.

Oatmeal, Grandma & Costco!



Hello lovelies!!

We had a great Sunday today and I hope you did too :)

The scale showed me some love this morning and wasnt bad at all.  I just hope it gives me more love tommorow. HAHA.

Anyways I decided I needed to detox from all my crap last night so I made some Coach's Oats and added a teaspoon of honey, 1 tbsp of mini chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar. 

I also had some coffee too, but not even a whole cup. 

We got ready and went to church, it was great!!
 
Lunch was our fave, mexican.
 
 
Chicken fijitas. YUM!!!! Diet coke. 
 
Then we went to visit Grandma in rehab.
 
 
Um is she not the cutest thing EVER??
 
 
She is so stinkin sweet. I loves her :)
 
These were pics from earlier this week but I wanted yall to see her precious face!!
 
I cried when we left. 
 
It makes me so sad to see her in a nursing home even if it is temporary.  I like to ignore how old my grandma is getting. :(
 
So the hubs took my big baby self to Costco
 
I have been begging for quite a while to get a membership there and he LET ME!!!
 
I was so stoked. 
 
We spent way too much money but whatevs.  We are stocked up now! Haha.
 
 
Then I STILL had to get stuff at walmart.
 
I digress.
 
So finally I got to eat and I had an Amy's Organic cheddar cheese bean rice burrito thingy. 
 
 
It was good. :)
 
So, today wasnt really too bad.  I am pleased with it and I took a day off from exercising. 
 
I plan on getting up by 6:15 am and getting my hiney to the gym to do my treadmill thang for at least 45 mins, while I jam to pandora bc my ipod is MIA.

Fat Girl Day


 WARNING: Although this is a weight loss blog you are about to see some disturbing images which may provoke certian cravings in you and I am not responsible, should you continue to keep reading.

Dont say I didnt warn you!!

Today was not a good day to be a healthy person. 

Let's discuss some contributing factors to overeating today:

1. I am not 19 anymore and clearly cannot stay up past 11pm without yawning through the next day.

2. It's almost time for TOM. Which makes me want to eat everything in sight as well as things on television, the internet and magazines. 

3. I have been excercising unsually more for the past three days lol. 

Ok...so those are my excuses as to why I wanted to eat ALL DAY TODAY

What the crap is up with me???

Ok so this morning, I sleepily went to Mcdonalds. So.wanted.to.stay.in.bed.

 
I had a plain english muffin with half a tbsp peanut butter.  The plain one is like 140 calories i think and the jam is 35 and the pbutter was like 37 or 38 calories and i had a coffee with 2 creamers/4 splendas and a fruit parfait, i never eat the granola on top so its 120 cals. 

Then I had to go to walmart on my way home from work so it was lunch time and we all know we will spend 50.00 more in walmart if we go in hungry.  So i went to taco bell and got 2 crunchy fresco tacos and one fresco soft taco.  470 cals.

Ugh cannot find the picture. Sorry :(

So then i did some shopping, dropped off some stuff to the local food pantry and a friend of mine who knows a single mother in need.  Now is a good time to go through your cabinets, I found a whole bag of stuff that we just havent ate, still within date that I could donate.  Our local pantry was in desperate need this week. 

Then I went to the gym.

Ah, yes the ONE redeeming factor to my fat girl day.

Fat girl runs on the treadmill and burns 309 calories in 45 minutes.

Then I come home and my mother comes over to walk with me. 

She brings us rotel dip/fritos AND some delicious coconut bar concotion she has made up and has no idea how many calories it is. Thanks mom. 

LOL I love her though.  She used to NEVER make this stuff when I lived at home. Now she BRINGS it to me. LOL But i do like trying it, lol...cant say I dont.  It was AMAZING.
 
And AMAZINGLY......this is all I ate.
It was sooo hard to stop yall. LOL.  See its better for me if i stay away from that stuff all together. lol
 
I stuck it in the fridge to give to hubby.  Me and mom agree that things cold in the fridge are way less appatizing that out on the counter at room temp.
 
Then I cleaned house even though I am EXHAUSTED.
OH. I forgot to tell you. I came home ravenous from all this cardio and ate a small bag of fritos and about a tbsp of frito dip (weight watcher cream cheese and rotel)
 
Woah I think i stopped posting calories a while back. Sorry guys lol
 
So then me and hubs got in a mild *disagreement* and *discussed* our *opinions* while randomly eating leftover buffalo chicken dip. 
 
Im telling you.  My fitness pal is not pretty today. 
 
THEN we decide we love each other and want little cesars. 
 
 
 
What? Isnt this how all married couples make up?
 
I had 3 pieces of cheese.  One was consumed in the car on the way home.
 
No shame.
 
THEN just to end the night in full caloric glory, I took another bite of pizza and ate a mcdonalds apple pie, which in case you are wondering is 250 calories, with some cool whip. 
 
 
 
Fabulous. 
 
I ate my exercise calories. And STILL went over 479 calories.
 
Oh well.  It's that rollercoaster called life kids. 
 
And tommorow is another day. 
 
And I will count calories and continue my battle of the bulge like I do everyday Pinky.  :)

Halloween Party!!!

Oh yall I am a tired girl.  Its gonna be a quick one! LOL.

See...I got up SUPER early this morning to run/walk on the treadmill so I could eat a bit more freely today lol. 

it was super early, trust me. 
 
This is what happened....
Booyah, 308 calories. Hoo rah.
 
Then breakfast was interesting.  Egg salad made with dijonaise, apple and cheese stick on crackers.

Lunch was yummy! Subway turkey with cheese mustard and veggies and soup! And a serving of light lays
 
 and yummy strawberries and cool whip!
 
Dinner was Mcdonalds grilled chicken salad
 
Ok now for the fun part!!!

The food was AMAZING.  I had samples of what I deemed caloric worthy haha.  My aunt made this awesome triffle that had chocolate pound cake, cheesecake pudding and cool whip and heath bars and caramel in it. It was awesome yall.  I made a buffalo chicken dip.  There was candy too! I had a reese and some peanut m and m's but didnt go overboard at all.
I tasted a sip or two of sangria but I dont drink so I had diet coke the rest of the night.  If I ever drink anything its maybe a wine with hubby in the hotel on our anniversary or something HAHA.
 
Plus I dont like wasting calories on drink!!!

Yall...I had SO Much fun and it was so fun dressing up.  Hubby liked my outfit too :)
 
The decorations were to the max yall!! Every inch of the yard and inside!! Even the bathroom was decorated awesome!! They had two fire pits going and tons of people were there.  It was their 9th annual Festival of Lights

Guess what??

I was nominated for the Liebster award!! I am so excited!! Shawna over at Life As We Know It is such a sweetie & nominated me-I feel so honored!  She has a really cute weightloss blog as well and you guys should go check her out!

Ok here goes....

1.  I have a cat named Noel & a dog named Reese.  Reese is a sweetheart & Noel is a spoiled terror. 

2.  I took journalism in high school and wrote for the school paper. 

3. My favorite part of a cupcake is the icing.

4. I met my husband on my third day of my senior year of HS at Cici's pizza.

5. I have a younger brother named Jonathan. 

6. I used to be obsessed with Elvis, and my mom took me, my cousin and I to Graceland when I was 15. 
7. I used to hate excercising until this year.

8. I was voted Most Country of my senior class.  I was also an officer in FFA.  It was a great place to meet boys, ya'll.

Yes they made me wear that hat.  Im being so country with my Abercrombie & Fitch shirt on.

9. I used to be incredibly afraid of airplanes until I had to fly to Chicago BY MYSELF for a business trip last year.  I got all my friends and family to write me letters to read on the plane when I started freaking out.  It really did help. 
 
10. I am a Christian & I love Jesus with all my heart <3
 
11. I was raised by my Mom till I was four, when she married my step dad, but I'm STILL a Mama's girl :)  
 
 
Now...the Questions I have to answer from Shawna are:
 
1.What is one thing about yourself that most people dont know? I am extreemly OCD. I wash my hands like a million times a day.
 
 
2.What is your favorite singer/band? I would have to say that at the moment it has to be Switchfoot.  I actually got to meet them at the Weenie Roast Concert this year. They are awesome and super nice.
 
3. What is your favorite time of year? Hands down, the FALL. I love the weather, the leaves, the pumpkins, the holidays, etc.
 
4.What is one of your guilty pleasures? Chips at the Mexican Restaurants. I know I shouldnt but I just cant help myself.
 
5. What do you hope to accomplish in the next year?  I hope to have some stuff paid off and some weight off LOL.  I want to loose at least 32-52 more pounds.
 
6. Where is your favorite place to travel to?  Oh this is easy. Gatlinburg, TN! Me and the hubs honeymooned there and we LOVE it. We have been back every year for our anniversary.
 
7. Are you married/have kids?  I am married. I have no kids.
 
8. What do you have most of in your closet?  Clothes.  Lots of clothes.
 
9. What is your favorite tv show and movie? Well TV show would have to be: Big Bang Theory, 19 Kids & Counting and Biggest Looser.  I also like forensic shows that creep me out at night.  For movies-Footloose THE ORIGINAL. And Legally Blonde.  No judging.
 
10. If there was a quote to describe you and your life what would it be?  It would be a Bible verse.  "Before I formed you in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified and I ordained the a prophet to the nations."-Jeremiah 1:5.  This is a reminder to me that no matter our circumstances or how we were born into this world, that God has a plan for us and our lives and that he has had one from the beginning.  I was not a planned pregnancy but God used me for His glory.
 
11. How would your best friend describe you?  The mother type.  I am the one she comes to for advice and to vent.  She would probably say that I am a very passionate person, loyal, trusting & trustworthy, but I worry a lot and am a bit unorganized :) And given the day she MAY or MAY not comment on my driving.

Today's eats....Breakfast was pretty normal.  2 Waffles with 1 tbsp peanut butter, I didnt eat the banana.

I tried 5 hr energy pink lemonade ( i got it free at the southern womens show) was not very impressed.
 
Lunch was good! Tuna salad from a can made with one egg and three dill pickle chips chopped up, salt and pepper and dijonaise!!

Along with soup, a reduced fat cheddar cheese stick, 5 reduced fat ritz and strawberries.
 
I wanted a snack around 5pm to hold me over through Zumba.

Zumba was great tonight!! I loved it.  My arms are going to be sore tommorow due to the pretzles we did though.

New Flavors, Princesses & Soup


Oh Happy Dayyyy!!!

Tommorow is thursday! Which is friday eve!!! :) Hoo-rah!!

We have made it over hump day and day 3 of my water challenge! Let me just say all 8 servings are in and I have actually not drank any diet sodas this week! Not that Im trying not to...but I dont have time for them when I am trying to drink my water. HAHA.

Ok so anyways! Breakfast was a challenge this morning. 

I wanted my egg salad again but didnt want to completley bore you all.

So I ..ahem...took one for the team and grabbed up something different to go along with my egg salad on bread (1 piece)!

Ya'll just had to twist my arm didnt you? :) A McDonald's fruitand yogurt parfait it was along with my large coffee/3 creamers/4 splendas.

Ok...I cannot find the picture ...apparently it didnt upload. AH I am so sorry :(

BUT it was 323 calories. :(

Anyways. I do happen to have a picture of lunch! Which I didnt get to eat until like 2pm and I was starving like a mad woman.  Busy Busy today.

Well I am not bruised but I have not been sleeping well!! 
Poor hubs has been having to get up around 4am for work and going to bed earlier than me. Sometimes I get woken up random times in the morning when he is getting ready for work, so that might have something to do with it. 
 
ANYWAYS!
 
I said all that to say this. 
 
I went and got an iced coffee from McDonalds lol.

I was pleasantly suprised to see they had a new sugar free one!! French vanilla. So this is a small, by the way.  I was not pleasantly suprised however, to see it was 30 cent extra
Why is is restaurants think that making something healthy makes it more valuable? UGH. Whatevs. I paid it. 
 
Came home from work and went on a walk with mom.  Its been weirdly hot latley, like 80 degrees today!! Makes me ill. I want my fall weather back-boots, scarfs, sweaters....
 
But oh well, can't complain!! Being able to see and feel and experience the weather at all is a blessing Im sure I take for granted!!
I was tired after our walk so I got subway for dinner.
 
6 inch turkey on italian bread with american cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, onion, bell pepper, banana peppers and carrots. Also honey mustard and salt and pepper.
AND!!!
SUBWAY HAS SOUP!! Ours never has had it and now they do !!! YAY!!!

Christmas Cups & Searching for Side Salads


Well hello there beautiful people!!

I hope everyone had a fabulous tuesday...yes?

Mine was pretty good. :)

I started out the morning at McDonalds getting coffee. And they have their new Christmas cups out now!! Yay!!

It's the little things ya'll...LOL.
 
Breakfast was coffee, 2 creamers (it was 3 but I didn't drink all of it) a banana and an egg salad sandwich on my Nature's on Whole Wheat bread. 
 
Insert funny story: All my life we ate Bunny Bread. It was your standard yummy white bread. One day my mother was educated by some magazine apparently which told her bread companies were bleaching bread to get it white.  She switched us to brown bread. I hated it. Was SO mad. Now, its all I buy. LOL.
 
Then when lunch came around, I remembered that when I was in a mad dash this morning grabbing my lean cuisine pizza so I could make it to McDonalds and work on time (lol) I had told myself I would just grab a side salad for lunch to go with it. 
 
So now I had to go search for a side salad. Normally I would go to wendys...but I thought heck, why not try mcdonalds again? So I did. Dissapointed, I was not.  It was pretty big and yummy because I got my fave southwest dressing. And cheaper than wendy's, a big $1.07.

After 4 I knew I would need something to tide me over while I went to kickboxing after work so I had some chocolate covered pretzles (100 cal pkg).  Ya'll have seen them before and my phone was dead so no pic. Sorry. lol.
 
I finally made it to kickboxing! It was a great sweaty hour!!
 
Hubby had supper cooking when I got home. Yay for hubby!!!
 
We had Parmasean Talapia from Walmart, sweet potato (with brown sugar, marshmallows, and spray butter) and green beans. It was soooo good!

And dude...according to MFP I burn over 800 calories in an hour of kickboxing.  That rocks.  If your gym doesnt offer it, or you dont do gyms, I recomend Jillian Michael's kickboxing fast fix dvd. 
 
AND I am thrilled to report all 8 servings of water have been consumed.
