I Did Some Damage...


...Ehhh...Im just going to be honest.

I am having a real hard emotional, exhausting week. 

Between my brother leaving and Hubs being with his family a ton trying to help them move, I am just not eating very well or exercising. At. All.

No. Exercise.

I am not happy about this and in my head I really  want to work out.  I just feel SO TIRED everyday after work.  I dont know if its the aftermath of the holidays or maybe even the stress of knowing we are moving at the end of the month...I need help and motivation! Ok...I will admit. I have motivation.  I have healthy food. I have a healthy body.  I need to eat less and move more.  That being said...I at least start off well...

Then lunch came around and I had what I thought was a great low calorie meal.

Except it just made me hungry and didnt fill me up!
It was a mesquite chicken smart ones with mashed potatoes and a side salad with ranch.
 
So about an hour or so after lunch I had a pack of lance crackers.

Then I waited some more and had my tangerine around 5.

Still hungry and a bit emotional after a spat with the hubs, I had a spoonful of peanut butter.
 
This is apparently the moment I decided I was sucking at a diet today and that I would just take pictures anyway!

Not that it would have mattered because I went OVER calories anyway.

It shouldnt have been that many cals. LOL.
 
I had a costco angus buger with 45 cal slice of cheddar with maybe one tbsp of fat free mayo (or low fat mayo?) and pickles, ketchup and mustard.  I had about 2 servings of the baked french fries and one half cup of baked beans.
 
I thought I was doing ok but I shouldnt have had two servings of fries.
 
I also shouldnt have ate a couple more spoonfuls of beans.
 
I am just sort of dissapointed in myself and tired.
 
Lets reflect on things I have done good today:
 
1. No fast food.
2. I had at least 4 various fruits and veggies.
3. I bought a new battery to fix my food scale!
 
SO tommorow I am waking up early and going to the gym. 
 
I have to start back somewhere.
 
Question: What keeps you going?  What are your workout plans/eating plans?

  1. At least the fries were baked! I caved and had pizza today instead of cooking supper and thought of you. Lol Doesn't look like the day was awful or ruined. A spat with my husband will make me turn to food really fast. Obviously, we fight a lot. Hahaha, kidding.

    2. After I posted last night, I realized I had the same exact supper on Friday that you had on Thursday. LOL I promise I had it planned on my sheet and didn't steal it from you. Then after I posted mine, I got a comment this morn saying someone else had this exact meal yest, too. :) Funny!

  5. Your day wasn't bad & like the other person said, you were still thinking about it w/ that measuring cup. I can say that even when I have a "bad" day, I'm still aware of every calorie because it is so much a part of my daily life now I can't NOT think about it & that's a good thing. I cannot LIVE w/o my digital kitchen scale & my measuring cups & spoons!!! I literally could not do this w/o those tools. I never guess about serving sizes unless I'm out somewhere. It makes my life so much easier. You obviously can get fairly accurate w/ guessing portions, but I still say measure & weigh if you have the option. You are doing great girlie!!!

    1. You are so right ashley!! I couldnt take it when my scale battery was out!! LOL Luckilly that little charm only costed 1.60!! lol. But thanks for the encouragment sweetie!! Somedays I just need a little reminder and perspective, I have been in a funk, but I went to the gym today so thats good!! LOL

  6. Don't stress it.
    I live in the middle of nowhere and we have a MAJOR snowstorm + freezing rain + high winds for 3 days straight. I live in a box-apartment with retired people, so indoor exercise is not possible. I obviously don't go to a gym. Walking is my usual reliever and I am not doing that. So I am sitting inside all day eating, eating, eating ...and I have a "binge" late at night issue. I know I know I need to change but hating these environmental circumstances and feeling like I don't even "want" to change.
